I set up a wiki for progressive parenting.

chiselapp.com/user/pnathan/rep

There are some super fun nerdy aspects to this software I chose, but among the features of this wiki is that it's all open source, *and* if you get the system software installed locally, you can download the wiki to your local computer and have your OWN copy of it. You don't have to depend on pnathan's goodwill and the stability of the site. That's very important to me, that we can cooperate and tolerate issues.

@pnathan @nico @DarckCrystale next time i see my sister ill ask her about some of the books she has in her classroom, she collects a bunch that star non-white leads and are diverse

@DarckCrystale @kellycrow @nico Also, let me know about any issues with the site. There might be some fascinating issues with self-registration that get exposed. (sigh)

@pnathan @kellycrow @nico
I did manage to register. Now, I have several questions:

1- how to edit a page?

2- how to you want to organize the project? (issue then creation of pages, or creation/filling of the page when people want to do it?)

3- I'm French, but I can speak English. It is *not* common in France (and it's sad) plus if I want to recommend children books, I would like to do it with English and/or French ones, do you think it's possible to add several languages for each pages, as Wikipedia do?

@DarckCrystale @kellycrow @nico

1. Add a link via [name-of-page], click there, and click edit. Normal users SHOULD be able to edit.

2. Probably more organic at first. I've blobbed out a few categories, but I don't want to focus on grand strategy until we have more momentum, and anyway, it should be a bit more cooperative.

3. I don't see an issue having multiple language, they will have to be multiple pages or different paragraphs within the page. Whatever you feel is best: I don't know what is best, as I'm not truly that multilingual.
